Planning a green wedding?When VerdeRocks was first founded, the company was headquartered close to a large bamboo grove where 14 phyla of bamboo grew. We mastered ancient techniques which brought out a natural fiber-optic sheen to the bamboo skin. VerdeRocks will be relocating again (and finally) to the Hawaiian isle of Maui in early 2009, at which point we will bring back our entire line of bamboo jewelry. Until then, we still love to make our bamboo wedding rings custom made to order. Our rings are made from a special type of narrow, black bamboo which we selected for it's dense fibers and resulting durability. It also takes on a natural polished sheen unlike any other we've ever worked with. We set them with vintage Swarovski crystals from the 1930's, which adds that touch of bling that marks all of our eco jewelry.
