Gwendolyn Davis is not your conventional designer. She is an innovator and a maverick in constant pursuit of a better way to realize her creative vision. Davis' style of design and way of working utilizes what she has termed Nouveau Vintage: her designs employ only organic, vintage, recycled and any materials that can be legitimately deemed certifiably sustainable. In addition, her concern for the impact of her enterprise goes beyond her choice of materials and processes. "There is something to be said about integrity, and VerdeRocks says it loud," Davis says. "Fashion does not have to be purely superficial. There is power in whatever influence one may have, and this industry is more influencial than any other, in my opinion."
